Develop a rhythm of activism.

Perhaps you’ve gone to a couple protests, shared a few posts on Instagram, or donated to a local mutual aid network or immigrant rights group.

But then you wonder: what else can I do?

In this moment, you’ve entered the gap between engaging in one-off actions and developing a sustainable rhythm of activism – a rhythm of resistance to fascism – that makes an impact, feels good, and deepens your relationships within your communities.

This gap is filled with our fight/flight/freeze mechanisms, our sense of comfort, and our questions:

  • What is there for me to do?

  • How can I support in a real way?

  • Will I, or my family, become a target?

  • Will this hurt my relationships?

  • Should I spend what little energy I have on something else?

  • Will this even make a difference?

These questions are entirely normal in a culture that has taught so many of us to shrink back, avoid conflict, and refrain from challenging power.

But in this moment, with fascism on the rise, we need to intentionally move through this gap – together and with courage.

It’s possible to gently hold our hesitations and our worries, while taking action that feels impactful, grounded, and connected.

Moving into Action

If this resonates with you and your story, I’m inviting you into three sessions of tangible, action-oriented coaching to help you move from scattered one-off actions into building a sustainable rhythm of activism in your life.

Think of this as a gentle and intentional “jump start.”

Together, we’ll use guiding frameworks from Nonviolent Communication, Asset-Based Community Development, and somatic awareness to:

  1. Get clear on your context and the role you want to play in your communities.

  2. Identify next steps and the supports you need to feel confident taking them.

  3. Take action, reflect on how it goes, and build toward a sustainable rhythm of activism.

And I know this can be scary work, so our time together is more than just the sessions. As needed, it can also include:

  • Text-based check-ins between sessions

  • Research about the issues you’re addressing

  • Resource-finding to help you take informed action

By the end, you’ll no longer be bouncing between one-off actions, feeling like you’re playing whack-a-mole in the face of fascism; instead, you’ll have a sustainable rhythm of activism, be better connected within your community, and have tangible resilience practices to help sustain your changework.

What folks say who work with me:

“Andrew brings together this really fascinating and delightful mix of gifts: he's great with structures and systems – both understanding them and creating them – and he does it all with a really light and playful touch that makes big things feel manageable. And most importantly, he cares. About his people. About the topics he's working with. And about the real impact of it all.” – James P.
