My name is Andrew Lang and I help folks build a daily inner work practice that actually fits: our body needs, our lifestyles, who we feel we are and who we find ourselves becoming.

Inner work is hard, but it doesn’t have to be dreadful.

We can bring humor and softness and even foolishness to it – in fact, these elements help us go even deeper.

Here are the most common themes I hear from folks in my workshops:

I hear folks searching for clarity and for a new sense of aliveness.

But here’s the thing about clarity and aliveness: they can’t be purchased or given to us.

They emerge in our experience when we become reacquainted with the wisdom already within our depths. They show up when we’re asked the right question, during an encounter with the sacred and mysterious, over a beer with a friend, or perhaps in the midst of a tear-filled journaling session late at night before bed.

We gain clarity when we touch upon the part of our story that already knows in which direction to move. And in our movement, we deepen into a quality of aliveness that opens us to finding new meaning, new purpose, and new possibilities for our life.

This is what I mean by inner work: the practices and processes that bring us the clarity and aliveness we need to embody healing and wisdom in our communities.

Grounded in the fields of internal family systems, somatic experiencing, contemplative spirituality, Jungian psychology, asset-based community development, organizing and activist work, and my time working in the U.S. education system, I walk alongside folks as we build our capacity to be more present to our lives and to the wisdom our stories carry.
